 Spring 2001World famous violinist and teacher, BU Professor Roman Totenberg gives a master class to the students of the St. Petersburg Conservatory and St. Petersburg Music School for Gifted Children. The photos on the auditorium wall are of late Russian violinists, Professors of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Mikhail Vaiman and Boris Gutnikov; in the middle – the portrait of famous violinist and teacher Leopold Auer, who taught at the Conservatory from 1868 to 1917. | |||||
