My experience with EBP was one of true cultural exchange. I came to understand some of Russia's evolving classical musical landscape through the lenses of young composers, established musicians, and the general public.

 

Для меня Проект был опытом подлинного культурного обмена. Я начал лучше понимать российский классический музыкальный пейзаж, воспринимая его сквозь призму как молодых композиторов, так и известных музыкантов и широкой публики.

My experience with the Educational Bridge Project is definitely amongst the defining moments of my life and my career. I met composer Vladimir Tarnopolsky (Moscow Conservatory), had one of my pieces work-shopped by his ensemble, traveled to Russia (both Moscow and St. Petersburg) and again had the opportunity to receive Tarnopolsky's personal advice on my work. These are just a few of a long list of amazing things that wouldn't have come to be if it wasn't for the great idea that is the Education Bridge Project."

Поездка в Россию в рамках Проекта является, несомненно, одним из определяющих  моментов в моей жизни и карьере. Я познакомился с композитором Владимиром Тарнопольским (Московская Консерватория), его ансамбль исполнил мою композицию (в Бостоне). Затем я поехал в Россию (в Москву и Петербург) и снова смог показать свои сочинения Тарнопольскому и выслушать его советы. И это всего лишь малая часть из всего того, что никогда бы не осуществилось бы, если бы не Проект"Образовательный Мост."

Thank you once more for the wonderful time we had while you and our american friends were staying in Petersburg. I think that the concerts were brilliant; the communication was really important for all of us.
