Robert S. Cohen has written music for chorus, orchestra, chamber ensemble, dance and theatre. He is the recipient of numerous awards and commissions and his works have been performed at major venues throughout the world. Recent works include: Alzheimer’s Stories, Of Eternity Considered as a Closed System, Edison Invents, String Quartet #2 (A Day in the Life), Homeland Security Suite and the choral works Sprig of Lilac, Ode, Three Spirituals, Peter Quince at the Clavier, Sleep, Little Baby, Sleep, Creation and Noah.
