The exchange program with St. Petersburg was a highlight of my musical experiences at Boston University and in Boston, which is, after all, a city of musicians.  I was always very impressed not only by the quality of people and music, but also by the imaginative ways in which exchange was organized.  It must have been extremely difficult for Dr. Leibman to secure funds for the program, yet she did it brilliantly.
